Made from sugar cane, this green material is produced using an environmentally friendly harvesting method from a Brazilian partner based in the Sao Paulo region.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\u201cGreen Plastic\u201d is the result of the combination of Brazil\u2019s highly developed sugarcane and ethanol industries, which use millions of hectares of already cultivated land<\/strong> (not involving deforestation). Each tonne of green polyethylene produced retains up to 2.5 tonnes of CO2 in the atmosphere, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and global warming.
